The Architect & The Integrator

My perspective is built on a simple premise: Be a learner, a doer, and an architect who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

That’s the Detroit in me. It’s the grit from working metal fab in  the summers in college, paired with the analytical rigor from a semester at Cambridge. It’s the resilience I honed in hyper-competitive New York, moving from high-end content creation to complex financial marketing. In every room, I was most interested in what I could learn from the brilliant people I engaged with. That foundation shaped my core philosophy.

What many call "selling," I see as the art and science of strategic communication. From day one, my work has been about using every tool available—data, technology, and language—to present a strategy, opportunity, or solution in the most compelling way, to the most appropriate audience, at their precise point of high interest.

Whether it’s institutional financial services, a new tech platform, or a capital raise... it’s all a function of communication. It’s about data-guided targeting and solutions-first language.

I’ve put this to the test as an entrepreneur. My first major venture was built to acquire business development clients through a retainer/equity model. We notched successes for brilliant entrepreneurs, funding projects and executing market expansion strategies. It taught me to build momentum from nothing.

My next enterprise was even more ambitious. With a passionate team, we built a complex solution to the "Pay-for-College" problem, complete with robust infrastructure, lead-gen systems, and a dynamic content strategy. It proved my ability to build a full-scale, data-driven marketing engine from the ground up.

Both ventures were tested by life-altering challenges, and both taught me invaluable lessons in resilience. But the second venture ended on a point of strategic principle. As the vision shifted toward a "low-information consumer," I knew it wasn’t my wheelhouse. We parted cordially.

Why? Because I’m not the guy who just tweaks the campaign; I’m the guy who builds the context.

I thrive on building businesses, teams, and revenue. I make money for people wherever I go. But if it were just about the money, I’d be a full-time financial advisor.

It’s about using my energy, my enthusiasm, and my unique market perspective to do something special. It’s about architecting the solution, translating the "why" to every stakeholder, and integrating the teams that will build it. That's what I am eager to share.

Practiced with world class teammates on my club team. And while I was one of the best in my high school league; I would get my butt kicked by everyone in practice.

This provided lessons of greatness, effort and humility that have lasted a lifetime. As  well as my first experiences working amongst world class talent and fitting in.

I still swim 5,000 yards a week.

UWS is my second home. I learned when they call in your order in at Tom's Diner and yell "make it good, make it good" it means they're feeding a local.

"Yah, let's just walk there; and yes I will slow down for you."

Born and raised in South Detroit if Journey (Steve Perry) didn't make it up. So Downriver of Southwest but not Windsor. And home of the Detroit Lions.

The GRIT thing holds true.

Part of being a Spartan is being able to carry a beer through a crowded room and most importantly have a conversation when you get there.

Too often the conversation was about package engineering but the sentiment is about being               well-rounded. "Go Green!"
